Radar measurement: Measuring Principle
Radar level meter works with high-frequency radar pulses which are emitted by an antenna and reflected from the medium surface due to a change of the dc value (relative dielectric constant). The Time-of-Flight of the reflected radar pulse is directly proportional to the distance traveled. If the tank geometry is known, the level can be calculated from this variable.

 

The 80GHz Radar Level Transmitter can realize continuous level measurement of solids and liquids. It can ensure high precision and high stability of measurement under various working conditions. Easy to install, simple to operate and less maintenance, it is an ideal solution for level control in the production process. With Air or Nitrogen purge connection, this DTS-RD-85-A is suitalbe for solid and power with heavy dust.
